TCMS: Making Your ISR Data Exploitation Ready in Real-Time

PV Labs’ Tactical Content Management System (TCMS) is a robust spatial-temporal database housed within a hardened processing unit that enables real-time access and exploitation of ISR data.  Fully compatible with your choice of PED configuration, the TCMS is an in-flight (hence tactical) data management solution that dynamically optimizes available downlink bandwidth so that multiple analysts can reach back and exploit anytime, anyplace, or any sensor within the mission profile. Once on the ground, the full set of uncompressed data can be retained in the TCMS format or exported to any standard GIS format/system for forensic exploitation.

The TCMS data management system is an innovative solution to the ‘data fire hose’ problem that plagues today’s ultra-high resolution sensors. Unlike traditional silo’d data storage systems, the TCMS indexes the mission sensor(s) in real-time, thus allowing the acquired data to be viewed, tracked, fused and further exploited within a fraction of a second of being acquired.

Doing business at 10,000 – 20,000 ft is a little different than your average climate controlled data centre. That’s why we house the TCMS within a field hardened, all COTS package. Regardless of the environmental conditions, you are assured that your data is safe, secure and easy to access and exploit. And once on the ground, the hot-swappable data brick enables quick transfer to your choice of ground station.

Compatible with existing ISR assets: The TCMS database accepts sensor data from any sensor type and stores it with relevant time and location information.  Utilizing PIMs architecture, the TCMS converts unique sensor inputs into a common input format.

Multi-int capabilities: The real value of the TCMS is allowing users access to all sensor data at any given time and location. When a user queries the system, putting all of the ISR data pertaining to that specific time and location at their disposal, they are able to work much more effectively and efficiently.

Provides standard GIS system formats: The TCMS produces data in a common format that can be integrated into standard GISs, allowing for the use of legacy systems or allowing users to leverage their preferred GIS.

Real-time and forensic access: The information in the TCMS is stored in such a way that allows users to track back and review previously stored data while simultaneously capturing and accessing live information.

Multi-user capabilities: By allowing multiple users access to the same data at the same time, analysts can view the same information simultaneously; a critical feature when time is of the essence.
